SCHOOL
MEALS

INDEPENDENT CATERING

As the school’s catering provider, Independent Catering provides a freshly made lunch in our school kitchens using locally grown produce from the UK. Complementing the 3 choices of main meal and vegetables your child can supplement their lunch with a freshly prepared salad from the salad bar and a choice of 4 desserts.

Independent Catering has built a great reputation for delivering the best quality, freshly prepared, and seasonally influenced, truly locally sourced menus. Our hot meals are authentic and not from a jar or packet. Salads, bread, and desserts are produced each day using the very best fresh ingredients.

Our commitment to using the best that the UK can offer lies at the very heart of our approach to great food all of which contributes to a social dining experience for the children

FOR YEAR 3, 4, 5 & 6 PUPILS

The cost of a 2 course lunch is only £2.53 including fresh bread and the 12-15 choice self serve salad bar.

We ensure healthy free school meals are universally available for those entitled to a free school lunch. The free lunch is equivalent to over £500, representing an amazing saving per child across the year.

FOR YEAR R, 1 & 2 PUPILS

Lunch is free for all pupils.

PARENT
PAY

ParentPay is the online payment service for schools and families. The system provides online payments, income management and dinner money administration for the school and catering team.

TAX FREE
CHILDCARE

Hilltop Primary School can now accept tax free childcare payments for Nursery fees and/or Breakfast Club.
Please visit the following links for further details regarding this:

Parents will need to set up their own tax-free childcare account and select Hilltop Primary School as the child care provider. Once you have made payment to your account, you will then be given a unique child reference code. Once you have this code, you will need to email this to our Trust Finance Team on accounts@beyondschools.co.uk.

Please ensure you include the following information in the email:

  • Your child’s school

  • Your child’s full name

  • Your child’s date of birth

  • State if you wish to use this payment towards Nursery fees or Breakfast Club or both.

Please note that as our after school club MFSE is run by an external company, you would have to make arrangements with them directly if you wish to use your tax-free childcare payment towards after school care fees. Once you have emailed our Trust Finance Team, they will then match up the payment to apply this to the fees owing on your ParentPay account.
